# What is this place? Welcome to **Infinite Worlds Online**! Named for the VRMMO my TTRPG campaigns were supposed to take place in, this is where I'll post my Actual Plays, writings, and ramblings. # Who am I? The name's **Axi**. Or **Sophie**, if we're acquainted. I'd class myself as a terminally-online, underachieving freeter from the Northeast US, who loves the written word and TTRPGs. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/M9gTqqM.png"> ##### What books do I read? I'm a currently huge fan of novels that include virtual reality. Neal Stephenson's *Snow Crash* is a favorite of mine, as is Marie Lu's *Warcross*. That said, I can even appreciate a good middle-grade book sometimes as well. I'd recommend Katie Zhao's *Last Gamer Standing* to anyone who loves playing first-person shooters. ##### What games do I play? I'm a fan of the crunchier, more simulationist games on the market. Stuff like *Savage Worlds*, *GURPS*, and *AD&D*. I found that RPGs only really "clicked" for me, once I explored the deep end of the pool. That said, I can't help but admire people who play more narrative games like *Fate* and *Ironsworn*, and aspire to be as creative as them someday. ##### Are you really an underachiever? Nah, not really. To be honest, I can invest a great amount of effort into projects I'm passionate about. But I also *literally* angled my entire life to earn the most money for the least amount of work possible, such that I have time for the people and projects that matter. I plan to publish reference pages for all the custom rules I'm using to run *GURPS*, as well as lore about my campaign world, *EDN III*.
