## Motivations
### Overview
Amber wants to live life on her own terms.
### Core Urge
Amber wishes to escape life vergin on the slums. She seeks fame, fortune, but above all else, self-determnation.
#### Origin of Urge
Amber had a rough childhood as a drug mule for the Gulf Coast Cartel. Punishments for failure and disobedience were often fatal, and she saw many of her own friends get mutilated in ways that still make her shudder.
#### Stated Belief
Because she's become desensitized to violence, she cynically says the only path up is suckin' someone's dick.
### Effects on other parts of life
#### Goals
Amber struggles to think in the long-term. She's seen people aroud her die at the drop of a hat, and Corpos treat law-abiding citizens like intelligent cattle. It's tempting to go full psycho-mode and kill everyone she can. As it stands, she runs inherent risks as a Hybrid, but that small defiance gives her the energy to see things through.
#### Relationships
Her relationships are a land of contrasts. On one hand, the fatalist ex-soldier Dutchko inspires her to commit ever-grander acts of violence and mayhem in pursuit of profit. On the other hand, her roommate Velvet is a soft-spoken drone jockey who urges Amber to look after herself.
#### Lifestyle
Amber's a goddamn slob. Her bed is messy, the sink is fulla dirty dishes, and she barely showers once a week.
#### Presentation
#### Dialogue
Amber's verbiage is coarse, reflecting the broad variety of English and foreign dialects present in the sprawl.
#### Mood and Temperament
Amber is often irritable
#### Hobbies
#### Skills
#### Habits and Addictions
Amber loves her some cheap booze. But she absolutely refuses to touch a phial of Red Sand she's seen that shit reduce whole-ass joeboys to whiny little bitches, just for another sachet of ecstasy.
#### Tastes and Preferences
#### Weaknesses
## Personality Questions
### Phase One: Character Conception Questions
**> Tell me about your community.**
I wish I could say the street looks after its own. Naw, everyone's out to make a buck, get up in life, even if it means pushin' ya under the water.
**> Who are the most important people in your life?**
Velvet, full stop. Ain't no one's ever treated me as good as her. I've come back all bloody and battered, and she still got me patched up.
- What’s your favorite song and why?
**> How do you spend your days?**
When I ain't on the prowl? Sittin' around like a lazy bum. Big fan 'a torture streamers as 'a late. There's this one local chick who shows off gunfights in Gary.
- What activity brings you joy?
- What responsibility do you hate?
**> Where do you live?**
Chicago Heights. Last, best bastion 'a hope for folks like me. It's either two folks to a studio, or a coffin.
**> What would you say is your best physical feature?**
Well... fuck. I don't really know. My face, I guess? I ain't got any boils or nothin' since I spent the early days underground.
**> What would you say is your worst physical feature?**
Look into these eyes. See the big ol' bags around 'em. You tell me if I'm pretty.
**> Are you responsible for anyone other than yourself?**
Pass.
**> Is anyone else responsible for you?**
Fuck no. You stagger or stumble, everyone leaves ya face-down in the gutter.
**> Have you ever been in love? Are you in love now?**
I... don't know, man...
**> What are your pet peeves?**
I used to hate when my old gun jammed. Never could afford the fix, so the chamber just kept blowin' up its barrels. Threw it in the trash after a year.
**> What is your greatest fear?**
My biggest fear? I'll bite it b'fore I get outta this hellhole.
**> Tell me about your deepest longing.**
I... I dunno, hun... Wish I could go back and change it all...

- If the world were going to explode and you could only bring one person with you on the escape pod, who would it be and why?
**> Tell me about a time when you truly felt safe.**
It's been a long, long time. The first memory I got is me as a kid, when my big sis fended off all the kids pickin' on me, and carried me home. She spent the whole night tendin' to my bruises and holdin' me tight... God, I miss the old gal...
- What would it mean to live as your true, authentic self?
**> From your perspective, what is your biggest flaw?**
I trust people too goddamn much.
**> What do _other_ people say is your biggest flaw? How do you feel about that characterization?**
"Too quick to anger", they say. Buncha bull, that. Bare yer teeth as a hybrid, and erry WASP sunuva bitch is callin' you an uppity freak. Wanna rip their balls off.
**> How do you want others to perceive you?**
JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!
**> Do you believe everyone has a purpose? Do you believe you have a purpose? If so, what is it?**
**> A hurricane is coming and you have time to grab exactly one object from your home before you evacuate. What object do you choose and why is it so important to you?**
Hmm... A gun. 'Cuz if everyone's gettin' the hell outta dodge, someone's gonna stick me up. I plan to beat 'em to the punch.
- If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
- If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
**> What do you do better than anyone else?**
I reckon I could bullseye a baseball better than anyone, cyberlimbs or not.
**> What does everyone else seem to do better than you?**
Well, social skills are for sure. I ain't the high-society type, y'know what I mean?
