# Weapon Tech in 2095
Major WIP. This page is meant to detail new weapon tech and terminology that might not be clear to readers.
## Materials and Compounds
#### Blamite
Blamite is a shameless tear-off from the *Halo* series of first-person shooters. In 2095, it is a glowing, faintly-magenta crystal that explodes into tiny fragments when inside soft materials. Results vary, ranging from a painful wound to complete disintegration of a softball-sized region of flesh.
In *Halo*, Blamite is famously used by the Needler, which fires slow-flying chunks of crystal.

## Ranged Weapons
#### Gyrocs
Gyrocs, or <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyrojet">"gyrojets" in real-life</a>, are a class of unique firearms that launch miniature rockets instead of bullets. The resulting weapon is very light and easy to fire, but has a large minimum range as the rockets can only gain speed over time.
In real-life, such weapons have been tested by militaries; example below. In 2095 however, these weapons are common and powerful, with the better ones able to load explosive ammo.
