If you fail, you fall one die-type of SC. - If you have a Critical Failure, this puts you down two die-types. - If this puts you at a d4 Street Cred, all rolls are done with a -1 modifier. You must Ace to get out of [[#On the Outs]]. - If you succeed on the Street Cred roll, you only get a -1 modifier to your next Street Cred roll. This is cumulative. - If you succeed with a raise, you escaped unscathed. ###### Character Assassination Some asshole walks up to you and talks shit. This could be in person, online, or in The Deep. Regardless, this is a challenge that can be thrown once in a while, that you have to defend against. ###### Bad Actors Alternatively, you might deserve it. Ignore a friend in need, betray an ally's trust, or anger the wrong people, and your Street Cred will suffer. It doesn't matter how slick you are. ###### Failure to Complete a Job If you fail to complete a job, you can lose Street Cred. A particularly resounding or humiliating failure might cost you two die-steps! ###### Lay Low You gotta be seen to have Street Cred. Go offline, stay away from your usual haunts, and let everyone think you're dead; and every month you're inactive, you risk losing a step of Cred.
